Under the Understanding Modernism and Posmodernism page you will find a brief description of the two periods with some visualizations and a timeline of Gettysburg College publications as well as important historical events of the 20th century.

Under the Themes page, you will find discussion of the themes of the self, universalism/relativism, and belief/skepticism.

The philosopher bios page holds brief summaries of the influential thinkers and their ideas that contributed to the ideals of these eras. All pages have links out to databases and Wikipedia pages for further reading.
